This feeder is not squirrel proof—to protect your bird feeders from squirrels, please use baffles or domes. Easy to clean—since this feeder does not come apart, all you have to do is spray, the feeder with a high-pressure hose. The double screen bottom of the feeder allows it to dry quickly. Its also recommended to spray with a weak vinegar solution and rinse excessively to help disinfect as needed. Holds approximately 4 pounds of your preferred feed blend. Use of all-seed blends is recommended for this feeder since songbirds usually avoid grains like corn, wheat and milo.
